Stress is a cause of premature ejaculation

In this article I’m going to teach you a technique to decrease stress and tension before you enter the bedroom. It has been proven that this will reduce the problem of premature ejaculation during sex.

Stress and tension are a major cause of cumming too soon, as I explained in the post about stress. Even if the tension is subconscious it will still have an effect. We may not realise yet that we are suffering from stress, but the subconscious build-up of tension will already cause trouble in the bedroom.

Unconscious and conscious tension causing premature ejaculation

The following technique is aimed at bringing stress from the subconscious form to conscious form, then to treat this stress in order to achieve good premature ejaculation treatments. But first I need to give you some important information.

When we suffer from high levels of stress, it will show in different ways. One of the most recognisable effects is the “mind wanderings”. This means that if we briefly stop concentrating on one thing, our mind starts wandering; mostly it wanders to what is bothering us.

These are often negative thoughts, but they don’t need to be, it could also happen when you’re looking forward to something fun or exciting.

Examples of negative mind wanderings

  1. You come home after a long day at work and at the dinner table you start thinking of what you need to do the next day.
  2. If you stop concentrating briefly at work, you immediately start thinking of the fight you had with your partner the previous night.
  3. You go shopping one day and you can’t stop thinking of that bill that you can’t afford.

But also: Cumming too soon time after time, and knowing that you’ll still be having the same problem during the next sex session!

Examples of positive mind wanderings

  1. You are in love, and when you’re in bed you can only think of her. This hampers your sleep.
  2. Three weeks to go to your holiday, but you’re so excited that you can’t concentrate on work, your mind wanders off to the holiday destination.

Mind wanderings are side effects of stress. We can’t keep our thought process under control anymore and wander off.

This is where the problem of premature ejaculation also comes in.

Controlling an orgasm needs good concentration, especially when you’re not yet experienced. Our mind wanderings can make concentrating very difficult and sometimes, during periods of high pressure, virtually impossible. What we have to do is to reign in those mind wanderings to make sure they don’t contribute to the problem of premature ejaculation anymore.

Whatever is causing your stress, is mostly the subject of the thoughts you’re having during these mind wanderings. Thinking of the fight you had with your partner the night before is what will make you lose concentration at work. Or if you’re in love and can’t focus because of it, you’re most certainly thinking of the one you’re in love with. The exercise we do is on “rounding off” of completed thoughts. We tend to keep thinking about the same thing, as if we are forced to do so. The trouble with stress is that these kinds of thoughts become sticky, we can’t let go of them and we keep repeating them endlessly.

It is imported to take some minutes out every day, especially if you notice your mind wandering

We need a note book

We write down:

  1. Where our mind wanders tostress is all in the mind
  2. Why we think about it
  3. What we are trying to achieve with this thought
  4. If the thought needs repeating

So for example:

  1. My mind always wanders to a big task at work ( no more….no need for details)
  2. I think about it, because the amount of work is so huge that I lose sight of it and I can’t oversee it properly.
  3. I’m trying to get a better scope on things
  4. Repeating this thought doesn’t give me more scope. Repeating doesn’t make sense.

You will notice in nearly every case that repeating the thought, the questions, the problems, has no rational advantages.

Making clear decisions on your thought process

If you write down for yourself  word by word that it makes no sense to keep thinking about this, and you make the decision not to do so anymore, you build a mental barrier for yourself to stop this thought from sticking and to stop repeating it.

You may not always realise that your mind wanders. Some problems or dilemmas linger in the subconscious.  So we have to pull them out of there to be able to treat them and to let go. In this case we want to do this to promote lessening the stress so it doesn’t contribute to premature ejaculation during sex.

It may seem surreal that these two issues are connected, but stress and tension in our body have a lot of influence on several aspects of our life. You’ll notice the difference.

Writing down your thoughts as a solution for premature ejaculation

It makes sense to take some time to ourselves when we’re about to have sex, and to simply
beat stress to beat premature ejaculationthink about what is going on in our life. If there are any problems or any positive things, write them down even if you never thought of them before.

This way you pick up sticky thoughts from your sub conscience, confront them and put them where they belong.

You put yourself back in charge this way. You chose to think about things before your mind can start wandering.

Do take this technique seriously, especially if you know you often suffer from stress. Taking a piece of paper and writing down these issues can be a big step to take for some people..

Don’t give in

Make sure you belong to that minority that is capable of improving himself and his circumstances. Maybe you should give it a try right now, you’ll see how powerful the effect can be, and how it will give you mental rest. You’ll notice the difference in your premature ejaculation very soon!
