Penis enlargement operations

penis enlargement operations, worth the risks or not?

The truth about penis enlargement operations. Operations for penispenis enlargement operations enlargement are probably the LEAST effective way to lengthen the penis, while also carrying the most risk. Let me start by answering a few frequently asked questions.

Is there such thing as penis enlargement operations?

Yes, penis enlargement operations are offered by some plastic surgery clinics, also in Europe and America.

Note that this intervention only lengthens the penis, it doesn’t thicken it.

How do penis enlargement operations work?

An incision is made above the penis attachment point above the pubis. The attachments that keep the penis in its place will partly be cut through and rearranged through this incision. This doesn’t really lengthen the penis; it just makes the part of the penis that is normally hidden emerge. This part is about 3 centimetres long.

The problem with this operation is that it doesn’t guarantee the growth of the penis, because in some cases, once the skin heals it becomes tighter than before, which may cause the part of the penis that had emerged to be pulled back again.

What does a penis operation cost?

The cost of this intervention is between 3,000 and 6,000 €, depending on the clinic.

What are the risks of penis enlargement?

The list of possible risks seems endless. The attachments that hold the penis in place also make its base stronger, which makes it less likely for the penis to ‘bend’. By cutting these ties the penis becomes a lot more fragile.  Bends that are too outspoken can damage the surrounding tissue and can ultimately damage the penis shape.

Another risk is that the foreskin might not fit around the glans anymore as before, due to the tightening of the skin.

Nerves can be harmed, causing acute impotence. And of course then there are the complications due to post surgery infections.

How long does the penis enlargement operation take?

healing after penis enlargement operations can take up to three months

Penis enlargement operations may take hours, but healing afterwards takes up to three months

The operation only lasts a few hours, but the healing process can easily take 3 months.  Sex is impossible during convalescence and the results are only visible after full recovery.

What are the alternatives?

Experiments have been done with Botox-like implants. The problem with these is that they imitated an erection, which meant the penis would continuously be erect after getting these implants. This type of operation is not available anymore (for obvious reasons, I believe).

There is a controversial therapy where the penis is injected. For as far as I could find out this is to arouse an artificial erection.  This treatment has been developed to treat impotence; it is very dangerous because various parts of the penis can be damaged this way. Several companies have later praised this method as the way to enlarge the penis. But there are no facts to prove this.
